Sunday School. Children ages 3 through grade 7 are invited to attend the first 20 minutes worship. Following the Children’s Message, children go to their Sunday school classes. Parents/guardians pick up children after worship.

Nursery Care. For newborn and infants, we offer nursery care every Sunday morning, starting at 9:45 am. Our nursery is staffed by a professional, who is trained to make sure that all children are safe and well taken care of.

Youth in Elementary School (Y.E.S.) provides meaningful social activities for elementary school children.

Youth Ministries

Middle School Youth Group invites sixth through eighth graders on monthly activities that build relationships, strengthen the spirit and serve the community.

Confirmation invites eighth graders for a year-long journey to explore what being a member of Christ’s church is about. At the end of the year, confirmands have the chance to be baptized or to confirm their baptism during Sunday worship.

High School Youth Group invites high school students to engage their faith through social activities and service projects. As often as possible, the youth group fundraises and plans a week-long mission trip.

Our main goal is to work on the children's social skills, developing communication and literacy skills. We hope that we can create an environment for your children so that his/her first learning experience is positive and enjoyable.

We hope that you as the parent will help build these skills by reading whenever possible and encouraging the child to do things for themselves, such as dressing, packing their backpack, and hanging up their own coat.

We hope the children learn respect and consideration for their classmates and teachers. We hope your child will leave P.H.N.S. with a positive outlook on learning and will look forward to their next experience.

Child Adult Safety

The Plymouth Church is committed to creating and maintaining a worship and work community in which members, their children, friends, staff and volunteers can worship and work together in an atmosphere that is safe, both physically and psychologically, and is free of exploitation or intimidation. Here at the Plymouth Church we strive to provide an environment that is welcoming and in which each and every person in our congregation feels valued. This atmosphere also pertains to visitors and those from our community who use our facility.

We recognize that our congregation’s health and safety is a key aspect of our culture of caring. This is especially true for the children and youth who are entrusted to our care. To that end, The Plymouth Church has established rigorous measures to assure that sound safety measures are established, exercised and periodically reviewed.
