Please join us for Angels in Human Skin: A Family’s Journey through WWII, on Sunday, April 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., in the Parish Hall. This afternoon of art and reflection is presented by Rev. Dr. Dirkje Legerstee (pictured) and is sponsored by the Plymouth Church Women’s Fellowship. All are invited to attend. The program is free, and refreshments will be served. Childcare will be provided, but we request advance notice, so we may staff accordingly.
Legerstee immigrated to the United States with her parents and sister through the sponsorship of The First Congregational Church in Dover, NH as Nazi War Victims. Her mother, Anji, was a holocaust survivor and her father a Nazi labor slave. The afternoon program will include a viewing of her artwork, as well as her reflections.
