Why We Reach Out
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me." In many other places through the Hebrew and Christian scriptures the message is clear: our work is not just to secure the safety and well-being of our own, but for all people. The members of The Plymouth Church take this directive seriously and pursue social justice and community outreach with a devoted passion.
The Plymouth Church has a long history of action and presence within the community, the surrounding area and across the world. In addition to our Outreach Council, we are the proud parent of two non-profit organizations that address the complex housing needs of the Metro West area.
