Parish Hall

The Plymouth Church Parish Hall was dedicated in December of 1991. It is used by the church for many of its functions, by community groups and non-profit organizations, and is available for private rental. The main entrance provides a spacious lobby and open corridors, with French doors that lead to a beautifully landscaped courtyard. The Hall is a handicap-accessible addition to the main church building with indoor access from the church sanctuary. An adjacent parking lot will hold approximately 120 cars.

The function area is 40 x 60 feet and offers a lovely bay window area, a complete sound system, brass chandeliers and in-ceiling lighting with dimmers. It may be divided into smaller areas to accommodate functions of various sizes. A well-equipped kitchen is available for food preparation by authorized, insured caterers of the renter’s choice. Beer and wine only may be served by a licensed, insured bartender. Round and 8-foot banquet tables, and cushioned chairs are provided and arranged as requested for each function. The entire hall will seat 150 people for a meal, allowing space for a dance floor and more if auditorium-style seating is used.

Ellison Hall

Ellison Hall is located on the basement floor of the Plymouth House Nursery School across the parking lot from the main church building. Community Groups including AA and Scout troops hold meetings here. The large open area (40 x 40 feet) makes it a great place to hold dances and youth activities. There are 8-foot banquet tables and folding chairs that may be set up as needed. A functional (but not fancy) kitchen is available for use by renters.

Classrooms

To accommodate smaller meetings, the church has several classrooms available for church and public use (at a reasonable fee) in the Christian Education wing of the main building. They are appropriate for groups of up to 25 people seated at tables or more if auditorium-style seating is acceptable.

Weddings

All who are comfortable with our beliefs and agree to a ceremony that is not in contrast with the tradition of this church and the UCC are welcome to be married in the Plymouth Church by one of our ministers. Special consideration may be given, at the discretion of one of our ministers, to perform a joint ceremony with another member of the clergy.
