Calling all readers! Fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, and children's books donations are all welcomed, neatly stacked at the end of the classroom hall.  No VHS, vinyl records, or textbooks! Questions? Contact Kathy or Don Copson. We need many book elves the week before the Fair to help alphabetize and sort. They lovingly uphold the Plymouth Church tradition of having an orderly Book Shop.  

Dust off and drop off clean donations in the Pre-K classroom, opposite Greg's Office. People stand in line each year to shop our wild and wonderful assortment of kitchen and household goods, gadgets, small appliances, linens, decorations, camping and sports equipment and sometimes musical instruments! 

Note: White Elephants cannot accept old electronics, computers, skis, thermometers, or light bulbs. No kitchen appliances bigger than a microwave are acceptable; no furniture more than 4 ft wide and 5 ft tall.

Please hold all small furniture, and bulky sporting or camping equipment at home until October 20 when we can begin setting up outside White Elephants under a carport.

All those toys, games and puzzles (you) and your kids have outgrown? They could bring another child all the fun they brought to you! Make it a family project to clean out rooms and closets. If you have any questions, contact Jaime Prince.

Play time! Al Rapoza and team offer traditional games such as ring toss and corn hole, and maybe a few unique ones that only creative minds can make happen.  

Can you lend some talent or spunk to this part of our Fair?  

It’s not too early to sort through your collection and bring in donations. Wrap your pieces in paper and secure in an envelope, and pass through the Office Door mail slot. 

Talk with Laraine Snooks, Jane Fadden or Nancy DeRomero about helping out during Fair setup week or at the Fair. 

Donations needed! Cute, hilarious, or spooky, all sizes, clean and in good condition please. Bring them down to the back half of the Nursery where you will hopefully see a pile. If you have any questions, Mattie Schadt is your character to ask. 

We are accepting donations in the back half of the Nursery. Clean and ‘like new’ Christmas Decorations, ornaments, and knickknacks only please. Contact Cathy Allen for any questions.

Donate your hand-made crafts and your talents! Talk to Shari Van Hook about potential donations. Ask her about a crafters gathering to share ideas, swap fabrics, or get a sneak peek at some of the Fair Crafts in the works. 

Meg Doucette leads a vibrant and loving Kitchen Crew, making sandwiches, fruit bowls and more to keep our shoppers and workers fortified on the big day.  Jerry makes Chowder, Jodie makes Bisque and Joe makes Chili. Reach out to Meg to join the team.

We’re excited to offer a classic favorite: homemade fudge! To make it a success, we’re looking for volunteers to make at least one batch of fudge (or more, if you're feeling ambitious!) to sell at the fair. Use your favorite recipe or let Maureen Crocker know if you'd like one—we’ve got plenty of easy, delicious options! Get creative – look for unique flavors.

Please use an 8x8 pan for each batch, cut the fudge into 6 equal pieces, wrap each piece in plastic wrap and place in the provided candy box. Please label the type of fudge. Maureen will have boxes available at the church within the next couple of weeks.

The Bake Shop would love to have your delicious homemade breads, pies, cupcakes, bars, cookies, brownies and other fun snack items for our table. Please package all items in bags, on plates or in boxes of 2, 4, 6 or a dozen and label any allergen ingredients. It helps to have items visible so please package in plastic wrap, plastic bags, or boxes with a window. Stay tuned for more details on Apple Pie making night!

Please drop off baked goods to the church kitchen by Friday, October 23 at 3 pm to give ample time for pricing. We could use some extra hands on Friday afternoon and evening to help sort, price, and display baked goods. Any questions, please contact Beth Marascio and Sydney Turner.

Scout Troop #12 recently celebrated 100 years of scouting here at Plymouth Church. For 10+ years and counting, Steve Geiser has lead the troop to provide high quality hot dogs with all the fixings, served in delicious buttered Framingham Baking Company donated rolls. Troop 12 handles this Fair tradition as an annual service to their host Church.  

There are sit down jobs for counting money, and there are ‘Runners’ who collect money throughout the day to be counted by the team. The Treasury needs counters, runners, and credit card cashiers.  Contact Nancy Lomas or Kathy Copson to help.

A few strong backed folk are needed the week before the Fair to put up car ports and move tables. Early on Fair day they set up Pop-up tents and tables and chairs for outside eating. They also break down after the Fair. Can you help here? Contact Sandy Clarke.

At 2 p.m. closing time on Fair Day, take leftovers to the dumpster or Savers or other warehouses.

Pack up boxes, vacuum, take down and move tables. We need lots of fresh legs to help with these tasks.
