Pearl Street Cupboard & Cafe at Park offers support to individuals and families who find themselves experiencing economic and personal challenges by providing food assistance and programs that promote self-sufficiency. The Meadows Program is an 8-bed residential program for women leaving the correctional system. Participation in the program lasts six months. The program provides transitional housing, substance abuse treatment and educational and vocational training. Shadows provides temporary emergency housing for up to 10 women who are sober. It is linked to SMOC's continuum of housing and services through the Common Ground Resource Center. Pathways Family Shelter is a fourteen family congregate shelter for homeless families. It is staffed 24 hours a day. Parents and children of each family share one private bedroom. Sage House provides a comprehensive range of services to families (male head of household with children and/or couples with children) with chronic substance abuse problems. The average length of for clients is six to eight months.
