We believe that every human being is a beloved child of God. Every person with breath in their body contains a spark of the divine.
And there is more that unites us as neighbors
than divides us as adversaries.

This Lent, we take this confession of faith seriously. We invite the whole congregation to join us on an exploration of the common ground and of our common humanity.

This year, and maybe every year, we are tempted by forces great and small, to deviate from the path Jesus set us to. It can be the 2024 election or an ongoing struggle in your family. It may be the conflict between the Likud Party in Israel and Hamas in Gaza or an unfriendly voice in your own head.

Each week, we provide a strategy to resist temptation.
Instead of anger, humility; instead of certainty, curiosity. Each day, we provide a prayer practice.

This is an Advent Calendar for Lent… only, instead of a piece of chocolate, we receive a spiritual gift, a lesson, a good word.
